About Vela
Vela is a period tracker that keeps your cycle data on your phone. It is made by Daniel Esteves and published by danestves LLC, his software studio.
Who makes Vela
Daniel Esteves is a software developer who has built web and mobile apps since 2016. He designs, builds and supports Vela.
How Vela makes money
The tracker is free. Vela Premium is an optional monthly, yearly or lifetime purchase through the App Store or Google Play. Vela has no ads and never sells your data.
How your data is handled
Your logs stay on your phone, and you do not need an account. If you turn on sync or partner sharing, your data is encrypted on your phone before it leaves. Our servers in Helsinki only see encrypted data we cannot read.
What Vela is not
Vela is not a medical device and not a method of birth control. Our calculators and articles cite their sources. If you spot a mistake, email us.
